I just returned to the office (3 days/week) after a leave of 3 months. The first 2 months were just miserable but I can now say I'm back at 80% and working hard at the 100% mark.

While I was away, it was hard to concentrate on anything ... even sewing and quilting. When I started getting better, I put the machine back on the table and started to cut fabric to make a quilted jacket for my niece. I had to push the machine a little bit and miscalculated my distances. First thing I knew my machine was on the floor  I could not believe what I'd just done. I picked up the pieces (it's hard to see when you're crying) and took my mess to my Janome dealer. He called me twice to let me know what was happening. I got my machine back within one week, fully operational; it is just like new.

I didn't have to pray and my friend up there took care of everything ... with the help of my new friend at the sewing shop.

Thank you Mary.

The first month was very difficult but nothing rest and therapy couldn't fix. I'm back at 80% and working 3 days/week. I'm still on medication but it is very mild. Should be off it within a couple of months. I have to say my cats helped me sooooo much. My ex-doctor had told me I was probably allergic so I had to get rid of Ruby at the time; my nose was constantly very dry and full of scabs. I started having the same symptoms a couple of months ago but the thing is there hasn't been a cat in the house for over 3 years so I got in my car and got myself 2 furry little friends. They are wonderful and very comforting and what do you know, my nose is fine :bluesmile

Have a wonderful day and don't keep things inside; it will eat you up.
