I just returned to the office (3 days/week) after a leave of 3 months. The first 2 months were just miserable but I can now say I'm back at 80% and working hard at the 100% mark. While I was away, it was hard to concentrate on anything ... even sewing and quilting. When I started getting better, I put the machine back on the table and started to cut fabric to make a quilted jacket for my niece. I had to push the machine a little bit and miscalculated my distances. First thing I knew my machine was on the floor I could not believe what I'd just done. I picked up the pieces (it's hard to see when you're crying) and took my mess to my Janome dealer. He called me twice to let me know what was happening. I got my machine back within one week, fully operational; it is just like new. I didn't have to pray and my friend up there took care of everything ... with the help of my new friend at the sewing shop. |

Thank you Mary. The first month was very difficult but nothing rest and therapy couldn't fix. I'm back at 80% and working 3 days/week. I'm still on medication but it is very mild. Should be off it within a couple of months. I have to say my cats helped me sooooo much. My ex-doctor had told me I was probably allergic so I had to get rid of Ruby at the time; my nose was constantly very dry and full of scabs. I started having the same symptoms a couple of months ago but the thing is there hasn't been a cat in the house for over 3 years so I got in my car and got myself 2 furry little friends. They are wonderful and very comforting and what do you know, my nose is fine Have a wonderful day and don't keep things inside; it will eat you up. |
