I have some lovely blue swim suit fabric. I bought it to make my daughter a mermaid costume, and I have a lot left over. I have been toying with the idea of making a suit for myself, but I have no idea how difficult this will be, and where I could find patterns for them. I'd like something modest, but not skirted. Like the fifties suits, I think, that went down the legs a little? Anyway, I shall appreciate any help you can give me! This is my first post here, but my friend who recommended Sew-What's says you are all friendly, so I look forward to getting to know you all. Cedar We do not have to see

Kwik-Sew makes patterns for swimsuits. Here is a link to their website. http://www.kwiksew.com/Cold_Fusion/catalog/Frame_New.cfm Hope this helps. If it doesn't go directly to the swimsuit patterns page, click on 'misses', then on 'swimwear'. Take care,

Hi Cedar, welcome to Sew Whats New. As you can see, the girls here are wonderful. I wouldn't mind seeing a bathing suit in the gallery. MaryW

Jalie also has 4 patterns for the price of 3. Sandra Betzina endorsed their T shirt pattern, and they sold out! Apparently it is a very nice fit. MaryW
