I've been trying to find a Sewing Machine Pad Pattern. I'm asking about the Pad that has an accessory holder in front with the little thread trash bag(usually attached with velcro) made out of Cotton or quilted fabric. Does anyone have out there in Sewing Land have a Pattern for one? I've only found a picture of one but it didn't have a pattern for it. Please can anyone help me? I have a Kenmore Embroidery Machine 19001 if this helps on the size? Bye for now. Thanks- Chrissie |

Crissie, I found 2 patterns but they have pockets for sewing accessories. You could just velcro a bag onto it instead of the pockets. Just an idea. www.janome .com has one on their project page. www.sewing.org also has one. Both have patterns & you can adjust the size for your machine if need be. Hope this helps. Theresa |

Dear beach girl: I couldn't find anything on Janome.com or Sewing.org but I did on Dogpile.com at http://www.heathershome.net/MonogramDOWpad.html Thanks for trying but I did look at the two websites and nothing was there about Sewing Machine Pad Patterns. Maybe you could look at them and tell me exactly where there at on the Websites? I honestly did look. Thank you. Bye for now. God Bless you. Smiles, Chrissie |

Chrissie, Sorry, the pattern isn't on the sewing.org any longer. Maybe I can somehow send a copy of mine to you. Janome one is still there. Go to janome, click on projects, scroll down to the archives & then to quilting. Scroll til you see "memory craft 4800QC pocket pal # ". Highlight that & it will take you to the page plus pattern. You don't have to do the log cabin part if you don't want to. Can make the pockets plain or however you want. If you want the other pattern I have let me know & maybe we can get it to you. I like the Janome one better. Hope this helps. Theresa |

Both McCall's and Simplicity have patterns for Sewing Room Accessories. I think even Butterick has one too. However, you can try a search for "Sewing Accessory Patterns" to see what pops up. A lot of times, it's all in the terminology. Marty
