Please help this lady out if you can, thanks. :bluesmile

I am new to your web sight, and there for may not be looking in the right place. But I hope you could answer a question for me.
I have just started back sewing, after many a long moons, and I found that the bottom tension is out of wack, just one strait line, could you please tell me how to fix this.

You might be surprised to find it is the upper tension. Try gradually increasing it so it pulls the bobbin thread into the fabric more. Tension problems are almost never the bobbin and the tension discs easily get out of their settings during storage and moving. Different fabric thicknesses also affect the upper tension.
