Please help if you can, thanks.

My question is, do you know how to or where I can get directions for palazzo pants. A friend of mine has a medical condition with her legs that makes pulling up slacks very hard. If I remember right palazzo pants went between your legs and buttoned at the waist. This made them look more like a skirt, but they were slacks. This would help Mary very much she is 84 years young and has to use a cane to get around. I would like to find a pattern for this to help her, she is a dear lady.

Thanks for all your help.

On the about.com/sewing website is a link for free projects. Under the link for adult clothing, I believe it has the instructions for "Island Pants" which is the same concept you described. Hope this helps. Marty
