Don't go rebooting your computer unless you know what your doing !!! I just lost all my embroidery down load's... ...I got up this morning and was going to do the Birthday's...My computer said to to reboot and of course... I didn't write down what it asked me to do for my computer fixer DH ...I just reached down and clicked reboot... all my free embroidery...3 month's work...GONE  I learned a hard lesson... my Hubby wanted to choke me  ... I lost alot of his saving's to... It's a good job he Loves me... Maybe I will write thing's down now ...when I don't know what I'm doing!!!! Oh I'm angery at myself.

Yeah Bud you been gone a long time!!!!! I told you we missed you. I'll try and send you some sites so you can get some of them back. www.annthegran.com www.search4designs.com Also go to the embroidery board and get the ones Aimee sent us. The ones she posted. Save them to disk don't hold them on your computer. I save them in a folder on my desk top for that month and then save the whole folder to CD. |

I will not lecture on how everyone should keep all thier embroidery designs on more then one media... Like CD, Compackt Flash, Floppoes, or thier hard drive. Bren if you are looking for something most likly I have it or I can make it for you to get you back started. http://www.sew-whats-new.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11602&highlight=free+designs This might also get you back. See you in a week or two when you get done downloadimg..

There are many sites that offers free embroidery downloads. Just do a search for machine embroidery and you will be surprised at how many sites pop-up and offer free downloads. Sorry that this happened to you. Hugs, Marty It takes one moment to change a life.

Oh Bren. This JUST happened to me. My hubby gave me a bigger computer, transferred my hard drive to a new one, and over 6,000 free designs were GONE. I had asked him to format a CD for me, so I could do a backup, but he got in a hurry. I managed to find an old backup cd, but several months worth of designs are gone. When you do a backup, use a new cd, don't re-use your old one. Keep it just in case. sigh. Allie

Hi Allie ... I'm for you, I got lucky and got mine back...My hubby retreived them for me ... and had him down load a copy on a cd for me ...I.m ready for him to do another one for me...I'm not to good with files...No chance you getting your's back??? what a shame... Did you happen to see all the sites Aimee was good enough to put on the boards ... I got so many great files off them..Hope you get some of your 's back. Brenda Bren:

Bren, that's great that you got them back!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful hubby - send him over when he's done backing up your designs, lol! I did see those sites that Aimee posted, aren't they great? I think I'll be starting over, lol....I had made it through almost half of those. I don't seem to get much sewing done these days, with all the computer time! so happy for you, Bren!
