Hi, Has anyone found a good slipcover pattern for a sofa with T-cushions? Most patterns are for square cushions. carol

While Simplicity has T-cushion patterns, I really think you need to make your own. There isn't any pattern you can buy that will fit your cushion. You're better off to get a good book with directions. I'll look thru my books later and post back with one or two recommendations for you. |

OK, this is not only a very good book on slipcovers, but it has specific instructions and a pattern for T-cushions. It's called "Slipcovers (Creative Textiles)" ISBN # 0865734119 Good luck! |

when a person does this professionally, they will : stack the t cushions ( usually two ) compare the similarities, differences. Choose the least deformed to trace for copy. Rub with crayon chalk over the cording of existing cushion and cut one half inch beyond. Use muslin, so that you may correct orientation of grain when cutting real goods. measure boxing height, add your half inch twice ( 1" ) and cut enough ( three or four per cushion. ) Some links: http://www.slipcovernetwork.com http://www.customhomefurnishingsindustry.com both have discussion boards that professionals participate in answering your questions.
