Can anyone help me find clear instructions on how to put in an invisable zipper? I have a Husqvarna sewing machine that is nearly 30 years young and still sews like a dream - will I need a special attachment or zipper foot for my machine? |

I love invisiblr zippers. It is easier if you have the special foot aas you can get your stitching closer to the coils I found this site http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/el_zipinvis.html Go for it Skye |

Invisible zippers are great, I love putting them in. The special foot is plastic and it was only about $3. I have a Kenmore, but I would think the feet are alot the same for other machines. The foot I bought had the attachment for a high shank or low shank machine. |

My sister taught me.. We just used the instructions that came with the zipper.. We had the foot also.. I would be afraid to try without it, even though I saw Susan Khalje 's program on zippers Friday and she put one in with a different foot that came with her machine.. The manufacturers instructions are OK if you follow them exactly.. It was easy and I expected it to be hard..

I also had a 30 year old Husqvarna, and I bought the multi pack foot package at Walmart for when I put in invisable zippers and it has a foot that fits. Works like a charm. I gave the old machine to daughter # 2 and bought a Lily which I love.
