Okay...so, if I sew items for a consignment shop and they want the size of the garment clearly marked...how do I do that? Gosh, I usually cut the tags OUT of off-the-rack clothes; I never considered putting one IN! |

You could make tags using heat set fabric markers. I have stamps I like and hand write my name to make a label for my own clothing but you could just put in the size or cleaning instructions. Dorothy |

If your machine will do numbers, why not just embroidery the size in a bright color on dark grograin ribbon and attach inside the neck. A lot of stores have the sizes marked that way.

I used to do my company name and the size on the facings of tops. My machine did the lettering. For bottoms I made a tag from pinked fabric square with info. on it.
