I'm new at this
i bought a piece of material and i am wanting to make a baby blanket and i was wondering what all do i need to buy to finish it, like what kind of thread, and what type of material to put on the back of it and do i need to stuff it or not and would i sew it with a sewing machine or could i use a hand held one.

Personally I love flanel for baby blankets. What type of material did you purchase?

Hondachick..., what king of fabric did you get? I think you've answered that already but to be honest I don't remember:whacky: Sorry. As for using batting or not, it all depends what you would prefer for your finished product. I do prefer flanet for baby blankets thus I use cotton thread.

The more information you give us the better we'll be at answering you.
