Hi Marty, got a question for ya. On the ASG site, it mentions Members at Large. I just glanced quickly and wondered what a "member at large" is. Does that mean anyone can join ASG? MaryW

Anyone can join The American Sewing Guild. I believe that there are over 150 chapters in the US and almost 150,000 members. Applications are online at www.asg.org and the dues are $40 per year. Lots of online and local resources that give discounts to ASG members as well Notions magazine. Each year there is a national convention where all of the top sewing educators offer classes and demonstrations. I was fortunate to have been a chapter president and to learn a lot of the inner workings of this organization that promotes home sewing. I love it and don't mind sharing what I've learned. Happy Stitching! Marty It takes one moment to change a life.
