I'm finally starting my sewing business, but I need to know how to charge my clients. Can anyone refer me to any articles or message boards on this subject. I don't want to charge to much, but I also don't to cut my self short. Any info will be gladly accepted. Kimberly from to the one who shines.......

A great resource that I have found is Kathleen Spike's book "Sew to Success" which can be found at most public libraries. She has samples of contracts, invoices, legal information, etc plus all of the little ins and outs of a sewing business. I found it well worth the $8.95 that I paid. Happy Stitching! Marty

I have that book, too. I got my copy at www.amazon.com/ for a fraction of the original price. I also liked, "Sew up a Storm, All the Way to the Bank" by Karen L. Maslowski. |
