My son is a Senior this year and has asked me to make his suit for Prom. I'm thinking sure no problem, UNTIL he drops the bomb... " Mom I want a black and white polka dotted suit". Now I'm thinking that he has really lost his mind . Well then we find the material at Hancocks and then the pattern. A George Washington/ Ben Franklin period suit!!!!!!!!! Well then he really dropped the bomb on us yesterday!!! He has been voted not only "Senior Class Clown" BUT.... now he's been voted to the PROM COURT!!!!!! Prom is the 24th of April so we will not know until then who does get King. I told him that he should feel very honored to be one of the five boys voted to the court. My birthday is this Saturday and this is the best gift I could have ever received. I really need to make sure that this suit looks good. Be still my nerves!!!!!!! |

It will look great. Try to talk him in to using a solid satin for the lepels or the accents. I think it is great that he has the personality to wear it. You have raised a great son. My 13 year old 3 years ago went to school as a Genie with a 5 ft long wig and 3 inch heels. He had fun too. The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!
