There is a poem about the days of the week that a child is born on and what they will be.

Does anyone have it or know where I can get a copy of it?

I can't resist a good Google opportunity...try this for fun first...

http://www.dork.com/risa/days.htm

Fill in the blanks with your birthday. It will tell you what day of the week you were born. Then at the bottom is the day to click on...and you'll find your poem...that is, if you're looking for the nursery rhyme.

I always remember the Sunday line to be:

But a child born on the Sabbath day, is fair
and wise and good and gay.

Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is loving and giving.
Thursday's child works hard for a living.
Friday's child is
Saturday's child is
But the child that's born on the Sabbath Day is sunny and bonny and full of grace.

Sorry, that's all I remember. But this does sound like an Irish poem.

Friday's child is full of woe

Saturday's child has far to go

I think you'll find this is in Mother Goose's repetoire
I Loved reading these to my kids-they ended up knowing many by heart. Me,too, I guess.
