What a conversation, lol. I am old enough that I watched her. It is boop boop de boop or at least that is what it sounded like.

Joanne thank you so much for posting the "farewells" site.. I have been a "Betty Boop" fan seems like forever.. I do have some "clothing" depicting the revolutionary "creme de la femme".. Sorry the fish net stocking would get caught up in my thumbs. and futhermore, they were very itchy Anywho... I honestly did not know that Mae Questel also spoke for our ever 2nd most famous woman libber "Olive Oyl". She is another fav of mine, but there is NOT too many items with her pointed nose and pony tail on.. I few years back.. I made a blouse with Betty Boop on my back & on the pockets... It was of her infamous straddle over the "Harley" motor bike. Someone borrowed it and I have never gotten it back... So boop boop de boop Karen Karen

Honey, mine says senior too, but that doesn't mean I'm not snapping my thong with the best of them... I may look like a boil in the bag turkey, but we all know age is in the mind! Betty now, there's a senior! boop boop be doop!

My Brother In Law is a Betty Boop collector. He has a red and white 55 Chevy Wagon he restored and he calls that car Betty Boop. He has a betty boop tag on the front of that thing and she is all over the inside from dolls to a tote bag I made for him with her plastered all over. He calls her his Main Squeeze. He even got a little tipsy one night when my Sister in Law was out of town and had her tattooed on his back. Now that's what I call "Lovin the lady." |
