Cute, Bren! I have to stick with pajamas, so nobody ever sees them....for some reason I can quilt like the dickens, but the simplest garment is beyond me! You GO, girl! Allie "onward through the fog"

Great top Bren. I also liked the jacket Mary. I'm working on this Vintage Vogue #2476 for DD's Easter suit. The jacket has 18 pieces to it. It looks a lot more complicated from the photos. However, it has princess lines, placket pocket, bound buttonholes and a 2 part sleeve. 1/3 of the pieces are the actual jacket, then there are separate pieces for the lining and separate ones for making the shoulder pads and interfacing. I even get to use my tailoring techniques of padstitching and twill tape on the roll line. Yippee! The skirt has 3 pieces and zips on the side or one can add snaps. It is a pale blue satin with royal blue topstitching. My dress will be a lot simpler. It's Butterick #B4125, view C, out of dark lavender satin. I plan to add decorative stitching on the top and skirt. Should finish both outfits by Friday. Happy Stitching! Marty It takes one moment to change a life.
