This morning in church we heard that a young mother and her child were killed in an accident involving a fuel truck. She went to school with my oldest son and we know the family quite well. She was 29 yrs old and her child was only 6 months. Her other child who is 3yrs is in critical condition. The driver of the fuel truck also died.

When someone you know dies it seems to hit home faster. You ask why or what for. You mourn for the family.

Thank you Bren and Margot,
Death is not new for me. We lost our 11 month grandson in a car accident, my 18 yr old nephew also in a car accident and my best friends 13 yr old in a four-wheeler accident. When we get older death is natural, but when someone looses young ones it seems tragic.

The best thing to do is talk about it. Go thru the grieving. Support each other. You will never forget, but the pain does ease.

So many people say I have only two grandchildren, but I have three grandchildren still, only one is in heaven.

If anyone else has lost a young one, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Shirley,

You and her family are in my prayers. It's so hard to try and figure out why these things happen to someone so young. But I feel like God has a plan for each one of us and it's his will. I'm not a very religious person but I do believe in prayer and in his will. We just have to trust in him and keep one another in our thougths and prayers.
