What do you vision yourself doing 10 years from now?

Ten years is a long time, but then again, the older you get, the faster time goes. Kids grow up and move away, relationships change, a whole lifetime can evolve.

What do you think you will be doing 10 years from now?

I truly hope that hubby and I can be healthy together. Jordan will be 23  good grief. Now, there's a thought.

Past that, I just can't imagine. Maybe a place in a warmer climate for 6 wks. of the year. Nah, I dunno.

I've never been one of those 'look ahead' people...I tend to live today and let tomorrow happen tomorrow...I take things as they come, because I've never been able to plan anything....
So in 10 years I hope I'm alive and well and doing what I want to do...

I coast along as well.. I am a VIVID now person..

As I approach the leaner years (meaning finanacial):..

I have wondered if I will be sitting/standing on a corner within a big city setting.. collecting donations when I strum a tune on my guitar.. but I do not have a guitar nor do I know how to strum a tune with the dang thing ..

So I guess I will be strumming something...

Oh I can invest in a tambourine and rock that little baby back and forth.. that will be rather VIVID of me as an individual beating a yesterday tune on my tambourine...

10 years.. I will be in later digits of the 60 class ... I will be doing some rock & roll on that rocker.. feeding the birds...

It is very scary because I know I will be wearing red in color and tights!!

Ten years from now I'll be getting closer to the medicare age. I hope I'm not having to use it very much. I hope hubby and I are in good health and living in the country with all the kids and grandkids in good health and happy. I'm a dreamer, so I wish all the kids are living life without a lot of ups and downs and problem free. Hell why not wish for it all. Wish that I won the lottery and I'm rich. Why not?

I have always lived for today too, and after what I've been through, even more so. So, 10 years from now I hope I still have at least the health I have now, hubby is healthy, kids and gr.children doing well, and we can spend winters in the south and summers here in Canada...and hopefully I will still be able to quilt, sew, paint, etc.

Ten years from now my baby will be 11. I hope to have a degree in elementary ed and be teaching 2nd Grade. It is quite possible that I will be expecting my first grand baby as my oldest will be 21. If she follows in her Mama's footsteps I'll already be a Grandma. Let's hope she doesn't. :whacky: Our house should be almost paid off and my husband will be making lots more money that he does now (he'll be retired from the Airforce and getting paid what he is worth). :bg: I'll finally be able to sew in peace because no one will need their diaper changed (unless of course I am a Grandma) and they will all be old enough to get their own food.:bg: AHHH!!!! Looking forward to ten years from now!!!

Ten Yrs from now my Baby will be finishing her 4th yr of college. (That's Scary). Oldest DGS will be in High school, Yikes! Hopefully our house & credit cards will be paid off. I would like to have a few more Grandchildren to sew for & maybe the time to do it.Husbands business should still be going strong. So maybe I will have some time to myself to do whatever I choose. The house shouldn't get as messy & I won't have to cook so many meals. I hope we will all still be online friends.

I'd like to be a speaker. My DH wants to travel when our kids are old enough to be on their own. In ten years we'll be getting close. I'd love to be able to go around the country giving talks about my quilts or others' quilts and take my dh for the ride! He's supported me as I've cared for the kids for the last 20 years. I'd like to be able to help him live his dream.

If that doesn't work, I'll just enjoy having more time to quilt and do the things I like. I'll probably be a grandma by then. My dh will be closer to retirement and we can spend more time together--I'd like that a lot! Then maybe we can go to concerts and museums--something that's hard to do with five kids in tow, especially when they are little.

I want to travel -- a lot. Since I hate shoestrings, I expect I'll have to win the lottery.
By then I think I'd like a grandkid or two, but not the live in kind.
And I want to be warm -- away from this cold place.
Maybe I will finally write that novel.

I don't think I'll be around 10 years from now...I'm not at all enthusiastic about being around in 10 years! If I am I'll probably still be wearing pants, ankle-length skirts, shirts, and flat heels, all in rose, royal blue, pink, yellow, lavendar, and cherry red, same as now...and of course, earrings. My kids will be calling me every week, like now, only wondering how long this is going to last? I'll be trying to keep track of grandchildren in between reading new books; listening to my old, and a few new, CD's or whatever the latest thing is. I've always had good vision, good hearing and perfect teeth, so I hope I'll still have that, and I'll likely still be scribbling poetry and other stuff, if I haven't lost my mind... I hate the thought of that. Marilynntx
