I've got a toyota machine with an automatic buttonholer, which would probably be great , if only I could figure out how to fix it on the machine!! Yes, I have read the manual, several times, but just cannot fathom it out. Maybe I'm getting stupid as I get older ( or maybe I was stupid already, but just didn't realise it till now...!) Can anyone give me any advice? Am I the only person who lives in fear of "the button hole"?!
Diane :)

Diane,
Is toyota machine made in Japan? If so, your problem may be this:
manual written in Japanese- translated literally into English language by someone who just translates word for word with no regard for changes of syntax (?right word?) .. I have this problem with a small bit of my Janome Manual.. Most of it is written in good everyday English, but some parts are very stilted wording.. If this is the problem, take a few minutes and try to think what they are trying to say and change it into your own words and write them down.. Then see if that is easier to understand..:whacky: :bg:
