Anyone know where I can get PUL? I tried the Joann's (40 minutes away) with no luck... we don't have any where I live. I'd love to buy some online, anyone have any ideas?

Please help!

Thank you! :-)

I'm so glad you put on the address of that site. I was about to ask what PUL was. I've never heard them call that before. Showing my age, huh ? LOL We just called them plastic pants or waterproof pants. I seldom used them as they didn't breath & that was a bad thing for baby ( and Mommy ). You sure learn a lot on this site for sure. Theresa

PUL originates as a fabric used for medical curtains. It's quite popular with diaper makers as a barrier fabric. Over the last 2 years sheet laminated PULs (polyester jersey chemically bonded to a polyurethane sheet membrane) have been replaced in commercial use by extrusion laminates -- extrusion laminates have a 1000 laundering duty cycle vs 20 launderings for sheet laminates.

While extrusion laminates are less expensive and better performing, you can't find them in cute colors or prints - basic blue, white, green and pink. Many diaper services have switched over, hopefully this will create enough volume to male prints possible.

Diaper shops get theor PULs from Fabrite in NJ. Fabrite has a neat service that accommodates a few yards at a time so if you have your own cute prints, you can have them PUL'd for a few bucks a yard. www.fabrite.com (I'm not affilliated)
