These are made from the pouches that Capri Sun drink come in. Kool-Aid and Tang are also used. Here is a link for some instructions.

For those of you looking for instructions for various projects, may I suggest using Google (http://www.google.com) This is the best search engine out there by far. Just type in what you are searching for (in this instance, I typed in Capri Sun purses) and away you go! Searching for things on the net is easy.

SEWSERIOUS,
Thank you for all of your help and hard work looking up this information.
Although, I have never heard of these purses before, and thought they mey be so new to the scene, I wanted to ask the knowledgedable people of this forum, WHILE looking up the info on the net at the same time.
I am so happy that we have this Sew-What's New forum available to all of us, to write to each other and find out information, but I guess we all need to look up everything we wanted to know before we talk to others. (and talking to others is also another form of research). Thanks again for all of your help and advise.

Hey Misty welcome to the site. In case anyone is interested, this is my niece. I sent her the link to this site because I knew any questions she would have could be answered by someone on these boards if I couldn't answer her questions. She is not new to sewing but some techniques are new to her. Hope you come back Misty there is so much to learn here from so many nice people. Sometimes we get a few grumpy people but overall these ladies and a few gents, are very nice and helpful.

Welcome Misty and excuse me if I stepped on anyone's toes but when someone asks where to find instructions I can assume that they haven't bothered to look yet. I found them in a matter of about 2 minutes! It took me less time to find the instructions than to post an answer!

I'm not grumpy at all but it is a pet peeve of mine that people often don't take the time to research things for themselves. I am glad to share about sewing, but I don't expect anyone to find things for me unless I have looked before and cannot find it. It is only polite. After all, we are all BUSY.

Sewserious, you're just TOO serious!

Aren't you being a bit presumptuous to assume something like that? Google is great, but sometimes you have to fumble a bit getting just the right phrase typed into the search box. You also have to scramble through the garbage links too. Not everyone is blessed with your experience, but hopefully we all have a lot more patience!

Welcome to the site Misty!

Welcome to the site Misty!

I've also asked people here if they know where I can find something. I figured there was probably someone here who could help me. I've sometimes spent hours searching for something on the internet and still haven't found what I'm looking for.

We all have our own method of finding what we need. Some are more proficient at it than others. No big deal.

I'm with you Mary, no big deal. My thing is if I want to answer someone's question, I do, but if I don't feel like answering or looking up the information, I don't. No big deal! There are too many good things to be happy about and it takes too much of my engery to get upset over small things.

Thank you all for your welcoming me into this board,
I hope to be able to share aswell as learn from every nice person out there who takes the time to reply.
yes there are other ways to look up information on the web, My dear Aunt Susie (aka mother in law) seemed very excited about this sight and told me how nice all the people are here so I decided to give you a try.
Sorry I have no pictures of my purses on the net nor at this time am able to put them on the net. But my speciality is made to order purses, you tell me what you like and I make them for you.
I had a BIG reauest for the Kool Aid and Capri Sun Purses.
I make just about anything and everything as far as themes for purses
And I am also SORRY to say NO I do not cook I can cook but don't like to, My sweet husband likes to cook so i don't argue with him and just let him have at it. Aunt Susie can cook and she is VERY GOOD at it too.
well I'd like to thank you all again for all of your nice welcomes and hope we can all get to know each other in the future.
GOD LOVES YOU

Hey Misty I want to see one of those purses when you finish one. Are they grown up purses or for the younger crowd. If you have a few pic of your purses I can put them on a website in yahoo and we can display them there.

Hey everyone Misty is not telling you all. She was in the local newspaper in Hattiesburg, Miss. a few weeks ago with her purses. Her little business has really taken off to a good start. I'm very proud of her. Her Grandmother, my Mother In Law could sew anything she wanted. She took a police uniform shirt from my Father In Law and made my son her oldest Grandson a shirt exactly like it using the large shirt and cutting it down to fit my son. When she was finished it looked exactly like the large shirt. She was very talented and Misty takes after her. Glad you finally came to the boards Misty.

There are ways to stop such things such as Adware at www.lavasoft.de

I don't get popups from google itself at all and never have. Did you click on a site listed by google and go there. If so, that is where the popups are coming from, not google itself. It is only a search engine.
