Does anyone know how to sew tucks? I have a butterick 3444 and it has tucks? Are they like darts? I'm confused and the directions aren't very clear. Thanks for any help! natalie |

This is one of those patterns that encourages the use of a pintuck foot. Have fun with it. Happy Stitching! Marty It takes one moment to change a life.

There is a little info on this page. http://sewing.about.com/library/sewnews/library/aatips26.htm Scroll down and you will see a small section on pintucking. Hope this helps. Take care,

I mark make a little slash in the pattern on the top and bottom at the fold lines and go to the ironing board and fold on those lines and then just stitch...or you can use an pintuck foot. Either way, pretty easy once you get the crease lines to follo
