I recently made one of those fun, frilly purses and am absolutely HOOKED on purse making. Here's the catch...
I used some very stiff webbing type material between my layers of fabric and batting. It made the purse stand up beautifully. Unfortunately, the webbing came from a stash that came from an estate sale. I can't find anymore at any fabric store. It's very stiff and made from thicker cotton threads, but it's thin and flexible. Please don't tell me I used a remnant of something that hasn't been made since 1966! Help me find more of this wonder webbing!

Sounds like Pellon's fusible transfer web. Sold at Hancock Fabrics with the stabilizers. I used some on a fabric bowl for a nice stiff finish. Happy Stitching!
