I recently made one of those fun, frilly purses and am absolutely HOOKED on purse making. Here's the catch... I used some very stiff webbing type material between my layers of fabric and batting. It made the purse stand up beautifully. Unfortunately, the webbing came from a stash that came from an estate sale. I can't find anymore at any fabric store. It's very stiff and made from thicker cotton threads, but it's thin and flexible. Please don't tell me I used a remnant of something that hasn't been made since 1966! Help me find more of this wonder webbing! Shelly Moon

Sounds like Pellon's fusible transfer web. Sold at Hancock Fabrics with the stabilizers. I used some on a fabric bowl for a nice stiff finish. Happy Stitching! Marty It takes one moment to change a life.
