A mail order fabric company is having a sale with silk dupioni at $8 a yard but I don't want to post what would look like an ad without getting your permission. It's a company I have bought from for more than 10 years -- before they were online.

I'm not ordering anything. I'm headed for New York City and, I hope, a trip to the garment district, or at least my favorite $2 a yard shop!!
Besides I bought all that linen just a few weeks ago. My new shelves are full. I guess I have to get busy and sew.
