I fell in love with a Vogue dress pattern (2676) that I want to make for a wedding. The suggested fabrics are satin, faille, wool crepe and brocade. Does anyone know if dupioni silk could be used also?

Thanks!

I would think the duponi would be fine for this dress. It would probably have about the same hand as wool crepe I would imagine.

Lovely dress BTW. Please post some pictures of it when you finish.

Thanks sewserious! I thought it might work but another opinion is always helpful.
