If you live near a Hancock's Fabric store, now is the time to stock up. Everything in the store is 20-50% off and starting Saturday - Monday, 50% off all notions. I've been waiting to get another chocoliner and the replacement thingys for my blade sharpeners. And through the entire month of June, they have some great buys on fabrics, etc. Patsy Patsy

This is the time that I like to stock up on serger threads like the wooly nylons. I'm one of those who likes the thread to match / blend with the fabric. Also, sewing machine needles by Schmetz is a good buy at the 50% off. Just wish that Hancock Fabrics had mailed their flyers for May. Oh well ... Happy Shopping! Marty

Joann's has a big weekend sale too...all threads are half price. They carry the mini king cones of Coats poly embroidery thread now...oh boy! Sounds like fun to me...I wish there was a Hancock's on this side of the bridge though.

I"m loving the sales for Jaonns and Hancocks! At Hancocks I got 6 beautiful rayon pritns for skirts and 3 Kwik Sew pattern and I only spent $53! Even the patterns were on sale!! I think I'm going back to get more and get some of the notions on sale  I went to 2 Joanns then morning and I spent $100!  But I got a ton of embroidery thread! My website has a sales page and it lists a large majority of what's on sale at both stores(link in my signature) Happy Shoppping and Sewing everyone!!! Trish So much Fabric, so little time.

There were Kwik Sew Patterns on sale? The gal at Hancocks told me she has never seen those patterns go on sale. Boy would I love to find them on sale!

Well, the Kwik Sew patterns weren't specifically on sale, but they're running the 20%-50% off everything sale and the sales gal gave me the 20% off the kwik sew patterns BUT the gal today wouldn't give me the 20% off the kwik sew patterns, I was very irritated!!!! So much Fabric, so little time.
