I have just used my first Kwik Sew pattern. I am at a loss for words as to how good I thought it was. The fit was so much better than others I have used. The measurements really do match up well. I liked the 1/4 in seams. I may have to add on though for one project I am going to do with this pattern in a sheer because I need a french seam and can't do that with a 1/4 in seam that I am aware of.

The instructions were easy to understand and the pictures were good. I just wish these patterns went on sale. I know I am hooked now and if there is a pattern I know I will make over and over I will not hesitate to look at this company. BTW the pattern I made yesterday was 3020, the top in View B. I made a mock-up one for my mom, before I do the project I am working on for her and liked it so much I cut one out in my size and made it also!

I have to agree, I love Kwik Sew patterns! The Directions are clear and easy. I only have a few patterns since they are expensive. I made fleece hats last year and they were so easy, I made 6 of them!
So much Fabric, so little time.

I started using the Kwik Sew patterns several years ago and loved them. I make all the grands clothes from them because they fit so good. I have bought the books with the basic patterns in them because you can make so much with those basic pieces. The book gives directions on how to alter the patterns to make them. For example in the children's clothing book, they have the basic T but you can make it into a polo with a collar, without a collar, you can even make a dress from the basic T, not just by lengthening it buy by adding a skirt to it. All the measurements and directions are right there. Lots of ideas in the adult book too! The patterns are expensive but well worth it. I was lucky and had a 30% coupon I used for one book and had a gift certificate for the other.

I too love Kwik Sew. First time I used one was to make leotards for DD. It was so easy I thought I'd done something wrong. Made two leotards in about 90 minutes--including the fitting and cutting time. I am also a big, big fan of Burda patterns. Love the way the shoulders and the crotch seam fits. They're more complicated to work with but are worth the extra effort.
