Hi,
I went to a Martha Pullen Sewing Market on Friday. There were great exhibits but what I really enjoyed were the classes.
I went to 2 by Louise Cutting. She is great and the clothes were wonderful. I bought the One Seam Pants and Points and Pleats Patterns. I may need help along the way but they look like great patterns.
I attended a class by Peggy Sagers and found out all the things I am doing wrong with the way I dress. She is also really good.
I went to a Connie Crawford draping class, I needed more time for that one. She is excellant.
I also went to a class by the gal who does Park Bench Patterns. These patterns are very simple but look great. I will have to try them after I finish a few current projects.
All in all a great day and I learned a lot. ;)

Wow!!! I wish I could travel to one of the sewing markets. However, health keeps me homebound. In the summer of 2005, The American Sewing Guild will have its national convention in Nashville, TN (200 miles away) which is the closest any convention has been. A lot of my friends plan to go and are saving their $$$ right now. I'm sure your head is reeling ...
Congrats! Happy Stitching!
