Hi all; Does anybody know where I can find tencel knit fabric from an online vendor? (no one local has the stuff). I am trying to duplicate a skirt that I have grown out of, the fabric wore like iron and still looks brand new! I have performed a google search quickly, and didn't come up with anything. Thank you! You can find tencel here http://www.timmelfabrics.com/rayons.htm and here http://store.yahoo.com/phoenixtextiles/fabric-apparel---fashion-fabrics-couturier-tencel-solids.html MaryW

Thank you, Mary, for the links, I had visited phoenix fabrics, and had seen their tencel but all is woven! I am looking for a tencel or 50% tencel or more KNIT fabric, not woven, very elusive!! Best, Heather Heather

Try a search at http://www.askjeeves.com You can pose a question but I like to jump to the matter. I'd try 2 ways of looking. Knits+Tencil Tencil knits Or some variation with those 2 words. I also love the Tencil Knits and the only place I've seen them used is at Lane Bryant. You might want to go to their web site and ask their customer service people who the distributor is or speak to the fabric buyer for information. Many times online emails work best. And the information is freely given. |
