Hey all, my machine has been working fine, till today. At first I thought my DGS had touched something, but I don't think that is the case. First of all, my thread is splitting, for some reason. NExt problem is the stitch size isn't consistant , say 25 stitches are correct, then a couple are double or triple in size, not only on the top, but the bobbin as well. I have been trying all evening and decided to wait till tomorrow, to consult my manual, which has been lost all day...lol... Thanks if anyone can give me some insight....

Deb it sounds like you need a new needle or check to make sure there are no burrs on the needle plate. Then, I would check to be sure there isn't a piece of lint in the tension disks on top or in the obbin area. On my Pfaff, a small piece of lint in the top tension disk or in the bobbin area causes all kinds of crazy things to happen to the stitching. Patsy Patsy

Wow, Patsy, I guess it has been a long time since I cleaned under my needle plate. I dusted and dusted and voila` my problem is solved. THANKS a bunch. I am so ashamed I let it get that bad, the feed dogs were so dusty....Well back to my DGD and DGS summer clothes...thanks again, Patsy!!
