Hey all, my machine has been working fine, till today. At first I thought my DGS had touched something, but I don't think that is the case. First of all, my thread is splitting, for some reason. NExt problem is the stitch size isn't consistant , say 25 stitches are correct, then a couple are double or triple in size, not only on the top, but the bobbin as well. I have been trying all evening and decided to wait till tomorrow, to consult my manual, which has been lost all day...lol... Thanks if anyone can give me some insight....![]() ![]() Debby

Deb it sounds like you need a new needle or check to make sure there are no burrs on the needle plate. Then, I would check to be sure there isn't a piece of lint in the tension disks on top or in the obbin area. On my Pfaff, a small piece of lint in the top tension disk or in the bobbin area causes all kinds of crazy things to happen to the stitching. Patsy Patsy

Wow, Patsy, I guess it has been a long time since I cleaned under my needle plate. I dusted and dusted and voila` my problem is solved. THANKS a bunch. I am so ashamed I let it get that bad, the feed dogs were so dusty....Well back to my DGD and DGS summer clothes...thanks again, Patsy!!![]() ![]() Debby
