Hello everyone. Well, it appears the site is up and running again. That was a surprise to me as much as it was to you. I had no idea the boards were going to be disabled like that. Sorry. We have been moved to our new server and I hope everything is going to run smoothly. I have not put out any type of newsletter in quite a while. The reason for this is everytime the traffic got even a little heavy, the boards would act up. I am going to put them to the test this morning and send out some long overdue messages. My computer also was acting up, it was very, very slow and had to have it wiped completely. That was no fun to be sure. The laptop is a wonderful thing but not for work issues, at least not for me. My programs are back in some sort of order, and I will have to play around a bit to feel comfortable again. I don't have the Java plug-in to hold chats. Before I had one heck of a time getting into the chat room. Now I can't even get to the front door. When I get this sorted around I will start having chats again. If you and your friends can get into the chat room, feel free to use it. That's what it is there for. As you can see, I was just about ready to I will get caught up, sooner or later. Until then, please enjoy the site and post when you please. I thank you all very much for your patience. MaryW

I haven't been able to get onto the web site for the past week and decided to come at it another way, download the site again and delete the old downloaded one. Everything seems to be working fine now. Earlier in the week there was word that Microsoft's system had been hit with a virus (or hackers) and were having problems with the site. I thought that was why I couldn't get on. |

Okay, second try at posting. I guess I've been lucky to miss all the site being down, we've been at a family reunion. I went in the rummage store that had a few gorgeous clothes I thought about purchasing, but I already have yards of stuff I'm supposed to be working on and I didn't have the luggage space to fit it anywhere. I look foward to surfing through the site and seeing what all has been said while I was gone (hopefully there'll be lots to read, though it can't compare to my email that I've whittle down to 185 from 300 something, YIKES !!!!!!!!). I'm thinking bed might be a good idea, talks to ya'll laters. Ticia |

For me it isn't slow. We've been having problems with our phone lines so that at times we couldn't even connect to the Internet. Very frustrating to say the least. Since the line has been repaired I have noticed every once in a while it will take a few extra seconds for a page to come up on the site. Then the next page comes up almost immediately.

Once in a while when I'm switching from the end of a thread to go back to index of that group, I will get a moment's hesitation, then it will pop right back up..Otherwise everything is great.. And , Mary this happens all over the web, not just on this site..But ever since the switchover , response time has been great, overall ! !
