I have been thinking about selling some items on Ebay, but I just wanted to get some feedback from anyone out there that has or does now do any selling on the site.
How hard is it to post your items? do they stand behind you with problem sales? is it something that you would keep doing or is it just to much of a bother?

Hi, I've sold lots on ebay, but nothing I've made myself. Initially, it's a lot of bother, but it gets easier once you've done it a few times. We've had good rapport with ebay staff.

I've debated on whether or not to sell what I make. Quilts don't go for very much money at all....but children's boutique clothing does! Do a search for some designer groups - ODOD is a good one to do a search on - but I hate making garments. And until you get some feedback, what you have doesn't sell for very much.

There are also discussion boards on ebay, for people to talk about their selling, how to increase sales etc. You have to have a user id to get there. I would do a search for the same style items I want to sell in order to find out if it was worthwhile.
Blessings,
Allie

At one point in time I was the EBAY queen.. Not any more... I find it very deceitful; therefore, I find it cruel...

Please do not get me wrong in being "USED and done in" by an "ebay seller"... I do not find the "trademark" as unique as it once was, therefore, I do NOT bother to venture into that terrority...

What???

I don't understand what you're saying. Were you selling hand-made items?

Sorry, NO I do not sell handmade items on ebay. I have sold items, such as "Victoria" mags and the likes of such.. BUT.. I usually did the purchasing..

I would purchase "boxes".. such as unusual jewerly boxes.. So my negative points go for how the seller handled things..

I recently purchased a $2.00 item on ebay and the seller wanted $11.00 to ship it.. It just so happens that the date of that incident was the date of your thread of question selling on ebay... Sorry

If you want to sell on ebay.. it will be fun I am sure.. but the bidder cannot see the work involved therefore, I do not think that your items will receive the $$ justice that they fully deserve. JMO

I am acquainted with various people that sell on eBay, although I have no idea what all is involved. My focus now is on researching the ins and outs of eBay trading and what is involved.
