Has anyone taken classes with them? I've been getting their emails of classes and have been somewhat curious, but have never taken one. They have a new one, that I rather want to take. Here's the link: Building Blocks (http://www.patternshowcase.com/mall/stores_app/Browse_item_details_msc.asp?Shopper_id=27997115213 2799&Store_id=124&page_id=23&Item_ID=1018) They are claiming this is a good way to make your own sloper and helps in fitting patterns to you, which is what I am starting to do in my own sewing, but am having semi-limited success because I don't have a concise step by step way to do this, and Sandra Betzina's Fast Fit book hasn't really helped me that much. Ticia PS: basically I"m asking if you guys think it's a good idea to take the class or have other suggestions of where to do this. |

I make my slopers by fitting them to my dress form. Sometimes I start with piecing sections together that I'm trying to get just right, such as the placement of a bust dart. |

Ticia, why not try it and see. It can only help. These are the classes by Heather Claus, isn't it?

Yes it is the lessons by Heather. My hesitation is because it is $100 for the class and I want to be sure before spending that for the class. Since my birthday is coming up, I might do that as my "birthday present." Ticia |

It looks like you are getting a lot for your money, try out some of the free lessons and see what you think. I saw Heather on TV and she was very good. MaryW
