I have been seeing a lot of the juice pouch purses made from Kool Aid, Tang, and Capri Sun juice bags. I would like to have one and would like to make it myself. Does anyone have instructions and pictures they could e-mail ??? Thank you, Melinda |

I did a quick google search and found these instructions, I know there are better ones, and I think I found the link here or at crafster.org (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php) But, these are the instructions that I found from google, like I said, I think there are better out there: Capri Sun purse (http://www.wwvisions.com/craftbb/askbb/8899.html) Ticia |

Check the Sew Young Sew Fun Program website.. I saw them demonstrated on that program not so long ago when I was surfing sewing programs.. I did not pay close attention since I did not intend to need the info.. Sorry for that.

That is very similar to what I saw on Sew Young Sew Fun.. That program was no # 502 California Gold Rush... Sue Hausmann taught the girls how to make the purse.. Theirs was 2 containers tall is about the only difference I could see..Technique sounds about the same except they did not tape the containers they just butted them together and zig zagged the seams.. The tape is probably a better idea.. I looked on the SYSF site and the instructions are NOT there.. They do not have a 500 series book for sale yet on there..

These are really cute! They were making them at the Martha Pullen Show last year. A lady in my guild made one and she put little sequin doo dads inside the juice pouches before she sewed them back up. It looks fun from the inside (her juice pouches were clear on the back). She used the zig zag technique with a leather needle. She said it was very easy.
