Can anyone tell me where to find the cardboard stripping that is used in making the rolled, padded top edge of an upholstered headboard. In all the directions that I have seen, the latest being in Singer's Home Dec Book, this stripping is called for, but I have no idea where to get it. Thanks.

Check on-line for upholstery supplies. A local upholsterer might sell you some if you tell them it's for your own use (in other words, no competition). I had a hard time when I needed some, and ended up re-using what I had taken off. If you're really desperate, and have a lot of time, it is the same thickness as the cardboard on the back of a writing tablet.
