Where is everyone going (those who haven't gone already) this summer. Anywhere special?

I "might" be going to Keepsake Quilting in New Hampshire. I have heard this place is huge. Has anyone been there and what did you think of it. Any advice.

DH and I will be going east to West Virginia probably sometime in August and I'm planning on whining about stopping at Hancock's-Paducah. :bluewink:

We just got back from a trip thru Toronto with gr kids and then took them home to Ottawa and spent a couple days there. We always go to Niagara Falls for a couple of days and I think this year we are going to bike the trail from the Falls to Fort Erie.

We are thinking of going back up to Mackinaw Is again this summer. We went last year and just loved it up there. We had a BBQ in a State Park somewhere nearby there but didn't have time to do a good explore so we would like to go back, if we can find it again. I don't think we are doing much else because we are saving up for a trip to Florida. We would love to rent a place for a month but not willing to take a chance on sight unseen over the internet so I think we are just going to drive down and look around and maybe find someplace for next year. Too many plans, not enough money!!!!

We are planning two trips before school begins. The first will be down the Oregon coast, to the Sea Lion Caves and then head northward, along the coastline.

The second trip will be by train (I've only ridden the European rails
so far) to Seattle, across the sound to Victoria, and then spend some time in Seattle, having lunch at the Space Needle. Down to Pike Street Marketplace and home.

That should be enough excitement to hold me for awhile.

I'm going to Vancouver for 4 days this Saturday. Will attempt a trip with a ferry on Sunday to Nainamo to watch the bathtub race, and on Wendesday plan to watch the Festival of lights. Probably one day of kayaking, and another day for shopping, including 'The Cloth Shop'.
