If anyone is interested, I will be posting lessons on putting together a really simple lined vest. This will be nice for the fall. Lessons won't start for a month or so, you have lots of time.

The pattern will be your choice. Try to keep it simple with little fitting issues. Don't let the lining put you off, it's a step by step procedure. No pressure, no time restraints. Let me know if you think you may be interested.

Sounds good to me, I always find linings confusing and I have a few vest patterns lurking around untouched by Human hands.

Sounds interesting to me too, are you posting pattern suggestions? The only vest patterns I have are either princess seams or with darts.

I will see if I can find a couple of simple ones. Darts aren't that big a deal, but what I will be concentrating on is the lining installation, turning and finishing.

I realize I cannot share because of copyright laws, but the last time I made a vest from one of those panel things you buy by the yard, I kept the instructions on how to line and turn the vest and when I went to the office supply store I put it on the copy machine and made a paper copy of it for my notebook.. I keep it in one of those plastic sleeves for protection..This is one of my better ideas, now I don't have to tear the house up looking for the pattern with those instructions in it..(which I have somewhere) The panel vest instructions had that easy method I like where the side seams are the last thing you sew.. I love that method..
