Is there a trick to getting the waist casing I am trying to fold over to lay right with 4 tucks in the front and back section of the skirt I am making? I have never worked with tucks before and I like the look it give to the skirt but folding over this casing to get it sewn for the elastic to go in is proving to be interesting. Thanks for any input.

I got it figured out and I don't like it anyway. I don't know what I was thinking when I picked out this style and in a print. It looked horrible on me. This will go down as a learning experience and a wadder!

Jolene I'm curious what pattern this is? I can't see how tucks combined with an elastic waist or any kind of gathering would look good. Seems they should have a smoothe surface adjoining to show them off.

Too bad about the wadder, it happens. Sigh. Better luck next time.

This is Vogue 2674. I love the tank and the jacket on this. Made them and they turned out great.
