I have a Brother sewing machine that my husband purchased for me several years ago. Shorty after he gave it to my our house burned. The sewing machine was one of the few things I was able to recover, however the owners manual was destroyed. I have been able to figure out most of the functions, however I have not been able to figure out how the automatic buttonholer works. I have asked Brother for assistance, but no one ever returns my e-mail or phone calls. I am hoping now that I can find someone who has one of these and can explain it to me. I know they still use the same buttonholer in their newer models. Any assistance would be welcome. Thanks!

It's always easier for people to help you if you put a model number with your machine.

www.google.com is always a BIG help..
just put your machine make and model number in....

Sorry, the model number is xl-3200. I have also seen this same buttonholer in several of the newer Brother machines as well.
