Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting this, but I couldn't find a "how-to" board so I figured that the General message board would be next best.
I just got the Bernina 930 Record Electronic back from being cleaned/serviced that I inherited from my grandmother.
After going to a one-on-one class today with an instructor I thought I had the basics pretty much down. However, after coming home I can get the machine to turn on, and it will sew a straight line, but all of the knobs are "stuck" (they were all in perfect condition this morning). It's not that they are broken, but I can't get the buttonhole knob to move at all, and the other ones will move but jump right back to default when I let go of them.
Is there some button, something that I am not doing right? There has to be some "lock" that I have not turned off. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? My guess is it is something very basic? As far as I can tell, I emulated everything the instructor showed me this morning. Thanks for any help!

Hi Redrasbora, welcome to Sew Whats New. :bluesmile

I don't know what happened to your machine, but like you said, I'm sure it is something very basic. maybe someone else can help you out.

Sorry to say that I can't help but I can steer you to a place where you may be able to find help. Jump over to the bernina USA message board and leave a message there. It is the best place I know to go for Bernina help or information. If that doesn't work, you may be able to get help from BerninaUSA technical assistance. I haven't tried to contact the company through that site but there should be a place to do that.
