Please respond here if you can provide an answer, thanks.

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me out with a sewing question..I've just started to take up sewing and I'm learning to sew a skirt I was wondering why are the back darts usually longer in a skirt than in the front? Thanks, ---Mesha Toor

easy..the curves are to adjust for your body curves. The front darts adjust for the abdoman and the back for the hips which is lower.
