for those of you who live (or will be visiting next month) in New Jersey (or Philly near NJ) and NYC (and Long Esland):

this huge 9/11 victim memorial quilt will be exhibited in Pemberton NJ sept. 3 - 5, and in Farmingdale on Long Island Sept. 10 - 12.

Oh, if you get a chance to see this, do it! I went here in Michigan a week ago last Saturday. It was very very quiet- people with tears running down their faces - it really brings it home to you just how many lives were lost.

The only sour note was a man who decided it was a good place to express his political opinions. Sigh.
