Well DD and her fiance have FINALLY found a place and set a firm date for their wedding!!!!:bg: :bg: :bg: June 18,2005. The wedding and reception will be in the same place, ( I wish they would use our church, but.........) , they have a web site that you can see pictures of it.; http://www.elmridgepartycenter.info/pages/1/index.htm They use, china, crystal, silver, crystal center pieces, on the tables, they just pick the color napkins they want. The room is done in miniture lights and white sheers and greens, the chairs are covers with white covers. The food, beverage( alcohol & non-alcohol), Hor derves', coffee, tea are in the cost. Any food left over goes home with the family, or to a shelter of our choice. The owner is a wedding co-ordinator and will work with them every step of the way.
DD and fiance have to provide, minister/judge, cake, photographer,DJ. My brother and brother in law, both said that that they will do the pictures. My cousin who has very beautiful handwritting is doing the invitations ( I am doing a re-fresher sewing course with he daughter in return) and does this as a business, is doing theirs for nothing. Our neighbor across the street is a minister and has offered to do the service if they want. Our church is between ministers right now and the retired minister doesn't do them anymore. He's in his late 70's.
My sister told the kids that they can have a BBQ at her house for the rehershal dinner.
I will be making the ring bears vests and the flower girls dresses.
Oh yeah, i forgot the best part for the kids, they can make monthly payments, and we are splitting the cost 3 ways ( the kids, his parents and hubby & I).
Sorry that I have rambled on so, I'm just so excited and happy!!!
They had just about given up on being able to have a wedding the way funds are these days. Now I just have to find a dress!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
