A friend of mine made me a lace bowl that is just beautiful. My SIL ooed and awed over it for a week. They are so dainty. She sent me the side pieces and bottom and I sewed together with a small zigzag. I had a fit rinsing out the stabilizer but I dried it upside down over a small bowl and it came out fine. Now I am looking for just the perfect spot for it to live happily on display.
