Mary, do you, or one of the other members may remember. There was a Gentleman who would tell us stories about his "sewing adventures" while driving a Big Rig ( I think that's what he did, not sure) and his many trips to WalMart for fabrics and supplies. Do you know what has happened to him? I miss reading about his humorous adventures with his projects. He sure can tell a story. |

I read that article.. It was in SEW NEWS. He cracked me up talking about what his wife did while he was shopping for fabrics...

His name was Doyle Loving and he did a fair bit of writing. His life changed suddenly when his wife passed away. He hasn't been around much since that time.

Oh how sad. I really do miss his work, he was able to make so many of us laugh. I hope that he finds it in his heart to share his talent with us again, when he is ready. I know that many of us will keep him and his family in our prayers. |

Boy, now I really feel bad.. I did not know about his loss.. and I made that remark.. Operation foot in mouth as usual., thats me.. I'm so sorry to hear about that..

No worries girls. He soon remarried and has an entirely new life now I suspect. I haven't heard from him in a couple of years.
