There are a few web sites that one may purchase patterns that are outdated. I have the "MontsterPattern.com" but the pattern I am in such for ain't there If I recall, (that is a challenge in itself) someone posted a few web sites for "antiquities" for patterns .. It is a Vogue Pattern from 1981. I have emailed Vogue as well.. but patience does not melt well with MENOPAUSAL moments Karen

did you try Ebay? What do you remember about the pattern, maybe it will help jar our "maturing' ( some of us at least)" minds. |

I even have the pattern #, it is a jacket. I did get a response from VOGUE and was advised to look thru their catalogue and will find something similar.. Can you believe that???? Oh well.. I did pick up a jacket pattern (similar) and it is not a VOGUE... Thanks... It was certainly a challenge that I have not given up on yet.. I did check ebay.. Karen Karen

Recently Vogue, McCall's and Butterick merged though are still operating under each name. They are not keeping old patterns as they do not have the room. Simplicity keeps theirs for 3 years after being discontinued or until they are gone. I would post to sewing groups asking if anyone has it in their pattern stashes. Also check local thrift shops. Hope this helps. |

Have you checked oldpatterns.com? You might also try half.com - it's run by eBay, but works more like a store. Also, ask on Google groups alt.sewing - I'd imagine folks would be happy to check their pattern stashes for you. Couldn't hurt. Good luck!!! |

BTW, I always look thru patterns at yard sales - what is the # and size so we can keep an eye out for it? |
