When a pattern calls for basting but does not tell you to remove it, do you remove it? I am working on a pattern for the third time and I guess the more times you do something the more you learn. The cuffs on the jacket roll up and the piece of material that is on for the cuff is attached to the jacket about an inch from the raw edge, you zig zag that then fold along the edge. In doing so the cuff is formed. The instructions call for you to baste along fold line. They do not tell you to remove the basting and it is hard to tell from the picture whether or not to do it. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jolene

If it shows and you don't like it, take it out.
