On a whim I entered this little wallhanging in our local fall fair. http://www3.nt.sympatico.ca/pfosted/Sherri/tropical.jpg Was very surprised to find it won a second place ribbon. Does anyone else have any triumphs to celebrate? Sherri My website

Congratulations Sherri! That is beautiful!  Makes me want to go to the beach.Hmmmm... I won a quilt block contest at my local Walmart last winter. Does that count?

Hey Tammy haven't spoken to you in forever. Poul claimed the wallhanging as soon as I finished it. It is hanging in our bedroom along with my Mariners compass that I did in Houston with your help. The blue in the wallhanging is very close to the blue in my walls. I bought the fabric when we were in Houston to. Remember that Fabric shop way back that Mike and Poul went with us to. I had some free time on my hands this morning and I wandered back onto this site, so I thought I'd drop in. The plane is coming along. Mike is predicting a January or February first flight. He is about done wiring up the instrument panel and will start body work again. I need to get started on the seats and interior. Are you still working at home? Tammy |

Very moody hanging Sherri - I can never manage to do anything that emotional. Fear not the Small persons. OH its not the children that are worrying me its the actual working. Moody? Well I guess it could be moody. I was going for sensual but I guess moody is alright. The fabric definitely adds that quality. Sherri My website
