I love ham but find it hard to make it interesting. I think this may help a bit. PINEAPPLE STUFFING 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained 1 stick butter 1 cup sugar (diabetics can use 1 cup Splenda) 4 eggs 6 slices white bread, cubed Cream sugar & butter. Mix eggs into mixture one at a time. Add pineapple and lightly mix in bread cubes. Pour into a 9X11 inch buttered baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 min. or until lightly browned on top. I got this from another list and it sounds good, but I'm not quite sure the quantity would be for a "stick" of butter. Anyone have a clue? MaryW

Mary, most of the butter here in the US is also sold by the pound, but it is usually divided into 4 sticks and wrapped seperately inside the carton.. 1 stick = 1/2 cup or 1/4 pound.. Sew With Love

oh Mary.... i have made this one and it absolutly delicious with ham!!! i used to make it for the holidays but, now they all want it when they smell the ham cooking. first question when they come thru the door isn't "is that ham cooking", it's "did you make the pineapple stuffing" young and old just love it. and it's very easy to make. i don't think i used a 9X13 pan, i think it was a 8X8 or about that size.
