Hi everyone, I’m new and very glad I found this forum. I’m making a Tigger costume for my grandson for Halloween. I can not find Faux Fur. I have no fabric stores here where I live. I check Wal-Marts and they had nothing. Does any one know of an Internet store that sells the Faux Fur? I need Faux Fur - Tiger For a tigger costume. Simplicity 4867 I posted a picture here for you to see. fabric (http://sewcottage.angeltowns.net/zzz/tig.jpg) Maggie Cottage Of Cards (http://grammyscottage.us/) Maggie

Denver fabrics seems to have it. http://www.denverfabrics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=001&Category_Code=FR-prints I found another one: http://www.distinctivefabric.com/fabric.php?id=FURPR1&google=animal_fur_print I can't vouch for either of these companies...someone else may be able to advise you on them. Have you considered other fabrics...maybe fleece? You may have more luck finding a tiger print in another type of fabric. Good luck! Take care,

Maggie03, welcome to Sew whats New. I agree with Donna, maybe fleece would be easier. Easier to sew and not as warm to wear. MaryW

have you tried Wazoodle.com?? they get all kinds of different fabrics and are very reliable. Joann's usually carries fake fur, do they sell online? just a thought.

Thanks, mommydionne Wazoodle.com looks pretty good. I may use fleece. I don't think I'll find the tigger fur. I started making the costumes I had one grandson. Now I have 4 grandsons and one granddaughter and a great nephew I make costumes for. My 4-year-old grandsons call almost everyday and ask about their costumes. They are so cute. Maggie Maggie
